3 things everybody is overlooking about the Ed Sheeran fiasco

Guitar Center's Ed Sheeran promotion.

These are the three important things nobody is talking about with the Ed Sheeran fiasco:

1) Sheeran and his management must have -- as the headlining artist -- approved Macklemore for the tour. There is no way they did not know about Macklemore's views.

2) Sheeran showed absolutely no allegiance to anybody on the tour, including his own band. None of them is taking home a dime from this tour now.

The Dropkick Murphys' frontman Ken Casey said on Boston Public Radio "You live or die with the people you bring on the road, they're your people."

He blasted Sheeran for "taking the knee, no matter what the cause is, and not standing with his fellow tour partner, just doesn't sit right with me."

That's probably exactly how Sheeran's music industry peers feel right now. 3) If Ed Sheeran can donate $2 million to “fight the humanitarian crisis in Gaza”(with no organization named), is he paying all the musicians, tech and road crew who now have no jobs because of him too?
