This CEO posted a very honest exit announcement on LinkedIn

It is not everyday when a CEO steps down and posts this on LinkedIn:
"Professionally, I'd rather be building funnels and running ads than managing people and dealing with various BS that comes with being CEO. I haven't gotten to do the fun stuff in a while."
And for added measure: "I know the business will be better served by an experienced CEO who has a different skillset than mine..."
Those are the words of Cody Plofker, an e-commerce executive and the son of make-up guru Bobbi Brown, announcing his exit as the CEO of Jones Road, a beauty brand founded by his mother.
Cue Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way."
Considering how 99% of CEOs step down to "spend more time with their family" or "my job is done here," this was an bold frank admission that, plain and simple, Plofker didn't like his job anymore.
Parting statements are almost always signed off by (and sometimes written by) corporate attorneys, who are not known for their imaginative writing style.
Instead, Plofker chose to post his departure on LinkedIn, straight talk. No gobbledygook. No press release.
Isn't it refreshing when a CEO acts like a human as they head for their next chapter?
