AI can't replace your voice as a brand leader. LinkedIn is enforcing that.

LinkedIn’s new AI slop button is a warning shot to leaders: write your own work.
And you should, if you care about your brand.
AI can never replicate how you feel about an issue, your words, your voice, and where you stand.
It could never describe your brand narrative anywhere close to how you do.
It makes countless mistakes that you have to correct ("Fair," as Claude likes to say) until it "got it right.” Is it ever really "you" if you move the steering wheel over to AI?
Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Morgan Wallen would never hand over their songwriting to AI. Big red flags for artists who whose brands are very personal.
Ryan Coogler, Chris Nolan, and Greta Gerwig wouldn't let ChatGPT frame their shots or coach their actors.
Even the leaders of the two most well-known AI companies in the world -- Sam Altman and Dario Amodei -- would never let AI run their board meetings, do investor road shows, or be interviewed on CNBC.
Your tenure will always be a reflection of your choice of words, body language, inferences, emphases, tone, and preferences.
The bottom line if you want to be believed and followed: deliver authenticity.
As positioning expert David C. Baker says:
"If I didn't write, I'd never know what I believed."
